HAIMUAL JEEP PROJECT


 

Without opportunities to help oneself, the reliance on donations can be the only thing to look forward to. Our aim is to make a loan to those who have provided a solid, sustainable business plan, and have shown over time to be trustworthy and accountable to us with the monthly support they have been receiving.

This will provide the means to earn an income that will lessen, and eventually replace, the dependency on monthly sponsorship, with the ultimate goal being that their future needs will become self-supporting. We will then be able to divert their monthly support to those that are most needy.

 

To that end we have undertaken to provide funds for a jeep that will benefit two of our homes in Burma, the primary purpose is to make money for the homes and ministry which will be their main source of income. The potential for this is great, due to the high costs of transporting goods because of the terrain and lack of suitable vehicles. The Haimual Jeep can carry different crops from out-lying villages to market, as well as transporting bricks, stone, wood and supplies.

 

We have set the wheels in motion and expect delivery at the end of May. So far we have raised £6000 of the £11000 needed - can you help us raise the remainder?
